Our Story

Gepetto, the elderly wood-carver in his humble workshop, loved and felt the life in wood. With his belief and vision, this master craftsman brought out the life in wood as he created Pinnochio. Inspired by his story, Gepetto’s joinery and home products are created in this spirit – the love of wood.

Founding Director Sven Grimmelikhuysen has 30 years of experience in the industry (previously Svencraft).  A leader in the field of bespoke and high-end joinery, he has earned many industry accolades and features in Visi magazine. Under the Gepetto brand since 2019, Sven continues to bring his personal touch, style and expertise to every project.

With a focus on exceptional design, quality manufacturing and hands-on service, Gepetto takes on custom projects, prioritising personal engagement. We value traditional craftsmanship blended with modern materials and style and have the support of a skilled and experienced workshop and installation team.
